Micro Immersion Dispenser for Microscopy

Live cell research and screening applications are typically based on samples in an aqueous solution. The company Leica has developed a micro dispenser to be combined with the company’s microscopes to help facilitate long term experiments to provide continuous water supply in the dispenser. The mp6 micropump is used because of its small size and weight. The dispenser includes a water reservoir that can be easily mounted onto the objective revolver, while still allowing to use all nosepiece positions. Depending on the sample and evaporation rate, the flow rate can be adjusted individually.
