Active Scenting Devices

For scenting devices as in air care products the fragrance delivery can be provided by incorporating capillary effects. The mp6 micropump can be used to maintain better control over the delivered volume and flexibility concerning the delivery modes used in such devices. One example is Flower Scent, an artificial flower with an integrated fragrance delivery unit. The fragrance delivery unit consists of a fragrance reservoir, an mp6 micropump with a battery driven driver unit and an evaporation head in the blossom. The FlowerScent can deliver fragrance oil either continuously in timer-controlled intervals, or based on actuation from sensor inputs, such a person entering a room. The fragrance impression remains in the impacted environment for a period typically determined by the type of fragrance and is refreshed with every pumping cycle.
