Dosing of liquid flavor

In order to add a personal preference to drinks, such as coffee or hot chocolate, flavors are being added as options to institutional and home-based appliances. For semi-automated dispensing systems, it is important to prevent cross contamination between different flavors and to ensure proper hygiene. This can be achieved by integrating the pumps directly to the liquid reservoirs, where they can be disposed of, together with the empty containers. Due to their small size and low cost, the mp6 micropumps can fulfill both the cost and performance requirements for such use.
